Born in Montreal, Canada, Karim has been on a maverick journey spanning 20 years. He started in New York City in the early 2000's where he built digital identities for iconic companies, such as CondeNast, MTV, Hearst, and the NFL. Designing and producing content based user experiences for their online platforms.
As a weekend side hustle, he founded a denim brand operating out of SoHo with a small fold out table on Spring Street. His customers were always ever-discerning and included Brad Pitt, Robert Duval and Whoopie Goldberg. During his remaining spare time, he enrolled in classes at the New York Film Academy and NYU. Shortly after graduating he debuted his first MTV music video and produced other videos that went organically viral, with well over 3 million viewers on YouTube.
He launched his own content creation film studio where he collaborated with a long list of global brands leveraging his visual feasts. During this time, he founded Enterviews, a bespoke interview platform he moderates. Some interviewees have included Zaha Hadid, Pharrell Williams, and Chen Man.
His photography has been featured in numerous publications including Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Forbes, W, ELLE, South China Morning Post, and has been exhibited at The Hearst Tower in New York City.
In his spare time, Karim goes on long motorcycle journeys exploring local culinary scenes in developing countries.
